World Handicapping System
The World Handicap System (WHS) was introduced in 2020. Under this system, every golfer is provided with a Handicap Index. The actual playing handicap varies form course to course based on the slope rating for the course, and the tees used for play.
The following tables show the playing handicaps from each set of tees at Newbattle Golf Club, based on the player’s Handicap Index. The same tables can be found posted on the wall of the pro shop.
