36 Hole Qualifier

  • Category: Headline News
  • Written by Allan Davidson

Our top 60 played yesterday in what was a fantastic days golf.

Jamie McIntosh in his debut championship won the Michael Holton trophy as leading qualifier with rounds of 71 and 66 for a total 137. This was enough to secure the win by 1 from Michael Davis.

However 2 rounds was not enough for some, with 3 players (score 149) in a playoff for the last 2 remaining spaces.

Our match play starts at 5:30 on Tuesday 13th of June and I urge all members to come along and support the players. It truly is a fantastic week of golf.

Our match play matches are:

S Stables v E Innes

JR Hunter v S Rutherford

S Thorburn v G Thorburn

N Corbett v C Moore

M Spalding v M Davis

C Church v J McIntosh

D Brock v C Stables

G Lyall v N Davidson

The very best of luck to all.

May I also take this opportunity to thank all staff, council and volunteers who helped ensure that yesterday ran like clockwork.  Without you, such days just would not be possible.

 Regards
